In a small town in Kerala, five childhood friends—Athul Edathodathil, Vishnu Kalidas, Adhrinath K, Jidhin K P, and Arundas P—shared not just classrooms and playgrounds but a boundless curiosity for technology. From early days of experimenting with basic programming (#include <iostream.h>, as we fondly joke), to challenging ourselves to create something meaningful, our story is one of relentless passion, friendship, and perseverance.
As IT enthusiasts, our journey began in our 12th grade when we started dabbling with web development, using Google and YouTube as our only guides. The pivotal moment came when, at the age of 18, we got a casual enquiry for building a website. Despite having no real expertise, we took on the challenge with determination. With long evenings of trial-and-error learning HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, we eventually discovered WordPress—a tool that would become the foundation of our journey. The satisfaction of completing our first project and earning ₹5,000 for it was monumental. It wasn’t just about the money; it was about realizing our potential.
From Freelancers to Dreamers
Through college, we balanced our studies and freelancing. Some pursued Computer Science, Engineering, and Cybersecurity, while one of us ventured into BBA. Despite our varied paths, we stayed connected, working on projects and pushing our limits in web and app development. We evolved from static web development to advanced technologies like Python, Django, Node.js, and Flutter.
Recognizing the need for professional growth, we pooled our resources to get trained in Bangalore and earn certifications in advanced programming. Our skills grew, but so did our dream—building something of our own. However, life temporarily led us in different directions after graduation. It wasn’t until the pandemic brought us all back home that we realized the time was ripe to turn our dream into reality.
The Birth of Algobiz
The pandemic era was a turning point. With people relying heavily on online solutions, we saw an opportunity. We committed to starting a company with one unconventional rule: begin without spending a penny of our own. We took on freelance projects, used the earnings to register our company, and educated ourselves on business legalities, seeing the gaps many startups face in this area. This insight shaped our mission: to not only provide IT solutions but also guide new entrepreneurs through the maze of business setup, branding, and growth.
Thus, Algobiz Innovations LLP was born in 2021—a name reflecting the fusion of algorithms and business innovation.
